Welcome to StrongbackConstruction.net! My name is Shawn Graham and I am a Journeyman carpenter with over 20 years experience as well as the founder of StrongBack Construction, a place where your construction manifestations grow from dreams to reality.
I started this company after I was repeatedly told, by multiple people, that I have a unique knack for organization and keen eye for construction techniques while helping others feel comfortable discussing their expectations and hopes for the finish product.
I am a father of two and a dedicated husband that understands the pressures of never ending to-do lists. Our team wants to allow you to enjoy your family and friends instead of worrying about how you are going to complete a minor (or major) renovation project on-top of the other thousand things you have to do in a day/week/month.
Our tight inner circle of teammates has always been very constructive with very vocal and open communication about all topics including timelines, costs and project development requirements.
I personally have a large varied background. I started my career in high school as an elective option outside of school hours working at a stair manufacturing company as well I progressed into millwork building custom items such as cabinets, desks, commercial doors and other interior beautification projects. This taught me speed and preciseness which are great qualities in any industry but I also knew I did not want to work on an assembly line for the remainder of life as my skills screamed ability to create beautiful things. Since those days on the assembly line I have framed custom homes, worked on large forming crews, renovated multiple family homes, completed industrial level maintenance and built unique community feature projects (such as cascading signs, gazebos, decks and/or architectural features).
I will share ideas and techniques from my personal experiences and education with anyone that asks. As I have dedicated my life to this career our team is very well rounded and will never take on a job that is outside the scope/realm of our capabilities. StrongBack Construction is created out of necessity for others and to inspire all of us to peruse our passions for the beautiful.
